The site visit program enables library literacy coordinators and staff to:
- Visit other programs and meet other coordinators, staff, tutors, and learners.
- Observe trainings, operations, and programming.
- Share effective practices and lessons learned.
- Gather information to improve and enhance their programs.
The program runs from January to June, and participants are recruited through the California Library Literacy Services listerv. If you have any questions, please contact us.
The Site Visit Program is part of the Literacy Initiatives project which is supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
